Career boosting mindset

Following simple rules may boost your career and improve your chances for success.
While gaining superlearning experience, we follow the same rules. See for yourself:

  1. Courage over fear.

Choosing the way of superlearning requires some courage. While there are dedicated teachers and many students have reached their goals, there are no guarantees that you will see of your work. You need to overcome one obstacle after another and each new skill you learn seams more difficult than the skills you already possess. If a student demonstrates fear and distrust, I recommend not to risk learning new skills: he/she has already failed. Those who have courage may learn and succeed.

  2. Believe in yourself.

Each success builds up our self-confidence. By learning skills one after another in a controlled way, we ensure that the students feel they can handle everything. And the students prove that they can improve much more than they originally expected.

  3. Choose good company.

We try to build a community of superlearners. Within the community we encourage equal measure of virtue, knowledge and creativity. Our students surprise and humble us every day.

  4. Adopt self-chosen goals.

“What do you read? What are your goals?” This is actually the first task our students get, the first question we ask our 1:1 students… The motivation comes from within…

  5. Have a purpose and a vision.

Visualization in our course is pretty much self-explanatory. Once you learn to use visualization, you can activate its powers for more than just memory. We plan to write more about it in future posts.

  6. Accept the challenge.

Each step of learning comes with new challenge. Bigger challenges result in more important discoveries and achievement, but these do not come cheap.

  7. Be discerning.

Each of us has personal style. We can celebrate the other and learn from the other, but we need to find our own way. The markers that come automatically are the fastest – and they are different for each one.

  8. Be willing to take risks.

Our students qualify with reading speed 800wpm retention 80%. Some, about 20%, reach 1200wpm at 85% retention. Some [very few] students do not qualify: they lack patience, persistence and perspiration. We give no guarantees, we think there are no guarantees…

  9. Do what you love.

When we start teaching markers, we make sure that you really enjoy making markers. If you do not enjoy the markers you use, we suggest different markers and different ways to make them. When you approach texts that are boring you see that retention drops. Curiosity is the best key to knowledge.

  10. Gratitude.

Fortunately this is something we see every day. Thank YOU 🙂
